Subway ran into a bit of trouble when some of their “footlong” subs weren't quite measuring up to a full foot.

Now, each sandwich is measured to ensure they are all actually 12 inches. We came up with a campaign to right this wrong. with free one-inch refund subs to lightly poke fun at the ridiculousness of the situation.

Size matters, and to our most loyal customers, We needed to apologize.

On national sandwich day, November 3rd, special one-inch subs will be wrapped and served in store. When The Inch is unwrapped, the interior packaging will reviel a heartfelt apology letter Subway fans deserve.

A petite version of Subway classics will be wrapped in a special paper, where upon opening, we reveal our deepest apologies for coming up short.
